I poke my head in here from time to time . . .
I had to laugh a little at all the comments saying you were going to kill yourself with zinc fume. Those people have obviously never seen a yellow brass melt without a cover flux . . . _________________ The process of turning stumbling blocks into stepping stones can at times require the use of a large sledgehammer.

I stop by every so often, but it has been a month or maybe two since I stopped in last, but then again I haven't been stopping in here as much as I once did either.
I need a laptop or a computer I can use while laying down as I have been doing a lot of that lately, guess it's time for hip and knee replacements real soon. Wonder if my health insurance covers bionic legs? or if they even offer anything of the sort, heck that show was in the late 70's. He might be called the 6 billion dollar man if they ever make a movie out of that old show. I'm half way to the 6 million dollar man as of this past March.
Now I'm gonna hafta check out your induction furnace happenings. I've been trying to gather stuff to put me one together, and it seems I'm always a day late or not at the right place at the right time. My friend that has all the scrap, well he had to clean out a bunch or stuff on his property due to the city and I showed up a week to late, when I asked him what he had I could use for parts he told me he had just scrapped a bunch of induction heaters he had forgot about that were from some sort of hi speed soldering contraption. But that's what happens when you hafta give up driving long distances, and by long distances I'm talking anything over 5 miles, I tend to fall asleep while driving if I go much over that, so I stay close to home if I hafta drive.

| Fond memories of 2005, and 2006 keep me coming back from time to time. Good years for both forums, and the chats. |
