It looks like I haven't mentioned this in bold yet.
E-mail activation is disabled. This was done to stop the flow of spam postings. Spammers continue to register in droves, but none of them can post. Unfortunately, neither can new members.
Therefore, please send me, the forum admin, a short e-mail. Something like, "Hello, I registered as [so-and-so], please activate my account." No need to plead or be excessively polite; the inconvienience is entirely my fault.
I only need to know your screen name; date of register and e-mail address (if different from the sender's) are optional.
